All the crazy shit i did tonight...

So..
Howdy all. We have a new addition to the ranks, Ms(?) mareeya. I am suspicious of this person. I'm sure I know her. *narrows eyes*
Life's been good since the last time I posted. I'm still behind on homework, but I'll get it done...I will!
Today I went to the junior social at my school. It was a hell of a lot of fun I can tell you. I got there late but it didn't matter. Jumped up and down to techno for about 2 hours. So yeah, awesome. E couldn't go though which sucked :( But it was still good.
New music is The Sound Of Settling by Death Cab For Cutie and Love The Way You Lie by Eminem featuring Rihanna.

OK, I wanted an excuse to do my own version of i need you to need me by Erimentha. But I couldn't think of one. So here it is anyway.

I want a girl who likes kissing in public.

I want a girl who likes hearing me sing.
I want a girl who goes to bed late and sleeps in.

I want a girl who is beautiful in body and mind.

I want a girl who dances in the rain.

I want a girl who calls at four in the morning to check if I still love her.

I want a girl who looks better without make up.

I want a girl who is perfectly imperfect.
I read High Fidelity by Nick Hornby. It's a gem of a book.

In English we saw the amazing movie Dead Poet Society. If you can find a copy, I recommend it highly.

Im now reading the book series Dexter was based on. It's looking good so far.
Nighty night y'all. Have a good one.

Man Overboard - Blink 182

So..
There's so much more that I wanted and
(So sorry it's over)
There's so much more that I needed and
(So sorry it's over)
Time keeps moving on and on and on
Soon we'll all be gone

Let's take some time to talk this over
You're out of line and rarely sober
We can't depend on your excuses
'Cause in the end it's fucking useless
You can only lean on me for so long
Bring the ship about to watch a friend drown
Sit out on the ledge, begged you to come down
You can only lean on me for so long

I remember shots without a chaser
Absentminded thoughts, now you're a stranger
Cover up the scars put on your gameface
Left you in the bar to try and save face

You can only lean on me for so long
Bring the ship about to watch a friend drown
Sit out on the ledge, begged you to come down
You can only lean on me for so long
So sorry it's over, so sorry it's over
There's so much more that I wanted and
(So sorry it's over)
There's so much more that I needed and
(So sorry it's over)
Time keeps moving on and on and on
Soon we'll all be gone

Man on a mission, can't say I miss him around
Insider information, hand in your resignation
Loss of a good friend best of intentions I found
Tight lipped procrastination
Yeah later, see you around

Letting the days go by, once in a lifetime

So..
I started writing the following on Wednesday night, as the rain hammered onto the roof. Then, my cousin and her son and daughter arrived for a visit and I had to get up and entertain them.

So..

I want to lie on my bed and turn off the lights. Look at the glow in the dark stars on my ceiling and hear the rain fall. I want to close my eyes,

You can probably see where I was going with that.. I'm sure it would have been a very deep and wonderful post. I'm sad the rain is gone. But it'll be back. This is Melbourne in winter after all.

I've been up to little since I last saw you. School is back again. I'm starting to pay more attention in class, though my homework still isn't getting done. I don't think I've had more than one or two teachers who have wished I wasn't in their class. It's not that I don't make trouble, it's just that I'm usually at least a bit apologetic about it and I like having interesting conversations with teachers who know what they're talking about.
But that wasn't why I'm posting. The indomitable Sir Miffington Quack Quack (very) recently posted about what she/he/it would do on his/her/its last day, inspired by If Today Was Your Last Day by Nickelback. I thought it a brilliant idea and will now proceed to completely and utterly steal it while claiming it as my own. Or perhaps not. And perhaps I'll do it again when I think of some more things.

If today was my last day(it is 1201 right now) I would:
  • travel four hours to E's house and kiss her for another hour.
  • eat every single thing on the McDonald's menu because I don't have to feel guilty about it.
  • call every person I care about and tell them what they mean to me.
  • write a blog post saying thank you and goodbye.
  • gouge holes in the wall with an axe, because there is beauty in destruction.
  • get into a fight.
  • read Crooks, Chooks And Bloody Ratbags again and the two sequels if I have time. Then, all of John Green's books and any Sarah Dessin's I can get my hands on. Then Catch 22. Then maybe some Terry Pratchett.
  • Go to a rock/metal concert.
  • Turn up to school late and out of uniform and instead of going to classes, walk around with a loudspeaker playing stuff off my iPod.
  • kiss every girl I've ever loved.
  • get out all my savings from the bank and give it to my friends and family.
  • buy every album I've ever wanted.
  • try and beat my brother in an arm wrestle
  • go to France and pointedly ignore the Louvre.
  • Go to America and...run wild.
  • Introduce E to my parents.
  • make a wish at 11.11
  • Go to sleep smiling and crying at the same time.

  • And wake up the next morning and think "Ohhhh shiiiitttttt.

Was that interesting? It was for me. Try it out if Sir Miffington doesn't get angry at me.

Music:
I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65
Misery by Maroon 5
This Afternoon by Nickelback
Once In A Lifetime by Talking Heads
Down By The River by Bliss n Eso

100th post!

So..
This is my hundredth post. I'm sorry it's not very extravagant, "so sue me." It'll be long and rambling, so you might want to scan it for interesting bits before making a comment and leaving knowing that it has changed your life in ways so tiny and complex that its effect will echo throughout eternity. Because that's what life is really, a series of interconnected coincidences, chance meetings and parallel universes.
It's the second last day of the holidays. I'm not too sad, I had fun. Had a few sleepovers, played xbox, went to football games and saw movies. Specifically, three sleepovers, all at my place, Fallout 3 and Bioshock 2, Richmond verses West Coast and Richmond verses someone else. I went to keep my Richmond-loving friend company, so I didn't pay much attention to the actual games. The Karate Kid was fun, if melodramatic and Love Actually was..very good. I always get really quiet and thoughtful after seeing a movie or reading a book. Speaking of which, I just finished The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessin. She's an amazing author really.
Uhh. I have a surprisingly small number of new songs. Just scan the list if you like, though of course I encourage you to listen to any or all that sound interesting. Just when you're supremely bored with nothing better to do. :D
Witches by Candlemass.
Blitzkreig by Deathstars.
Hall Of The Mountain King by Savatage.
The Wild And The Young by Quiet Riot.
Mr Crowley by Ozzy Osbourne.
The Beautiful People by Marylin Manson. (Awesome drums)
The Axeman by Omen. (Cool intro)
In The Black by Motorhead.
Betrayal by Lita Ford.
All of the above are from Brutal Legend by the way.
Kiss From A Rose by Seal. An oldie but a goodie.
Hard Rock Hallelujah by Lordi. Won the Eurovision Song Contest in...2006 I think.
Blind Guardian's cover of You're The Voice. I know I keep saying awesome but..ITS AWESOME!
Miss You by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Say by John Mayer. Got bored of it quickly but I thought I'd put it in anyway.

So what else? Well, Erimentha tagged me for the Inspirational Blog award quite a while ago. Better late than never I guess. I thought I'd use it as an excuse to talk about things I've been wanting to talk about but never got the chance. Though now I have the chance, I don't know what to say. My five favourite things in my room?

My stereo, which has served me very well ever since I won it at the Melbourne Show when I was..probably about seven or eight. It has a radio, CD player and tape player. The only thing that is wrong with it is the volume goes weird if you turn it down too far. Not bad for a stereo thats almost nine years old.

My necklace. My girlfriend, let's call her E, made it for my birthday. I almost never take it off. Yes it's shaped like a razor. Yes I'm OK with that. And now if you ever see a really really cool guy walking down the street wearing a handmade necklace shaped like a razor you'll know someone stole it.
My laptop. It has an immense hard drive so I can keep everything I could ever want on it. I have a bunch of movies, videos and pictures.

My ideas book. Its where I write down story ideas, reminders, poetry, songs and lots of other random things. I bought it from Typo (great store) and I only ever write in it backwards.
(it says: So much lost, so little gained. Everything is backwards. Bring the whips and rope and chains. The Alphabet. abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog x 2)

My massive book collection. I want to have a library in my house when I'm older. It'd be amazing.

My CD collection. There's about 20, but it's a work in progress.

My super comfy, super warm double bed.

Now, some great news. Yesterday went into the city and got my learner's license. Awesome or what? Of course, I can;t drive without a parent in the car, but still, I'm on my way..somewhere.
I really have to go to bed, school in two days and all. I'm finishing a song and when it's done I'll put it up for you're viewing pleasure. Here's some pictures:

Get it?

I love the little side story with this kid. Very cute. He's a very good actor.
Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) was amazing in Love Actually, I was so sad about what happened.
Very true. Make your own destiny.
The man who said this wrote Fight Club which is one of the best movies of all time. Don't think you'd like it though...
Do it!
