A not so old draft. ".execute"

It appears that we have reached the edge
That zenith where stimuli and comatose collide.
Forty years ago the man proclaimed
The age of the gross to be upon us,
And even though the man was destroying our heritage,
And insulting our intelligence
That era has become very real.

We labor for pleasure and abhor the guilt of pressure
My generation will go down as the architects
Of contemporary disgust.

Some have fought and died,
Others have allowed the strong to be butchered for a price
They themselves don't care about and will never understand.
I myself am beleaguered by the selfish face
Of a kind of man that is not mankind.

Distrust in information.
Fundamentalism of opinion.
Catastrophic boredom and a fanatical devotion
To that which does. not. matter!

Where is your glory now, people?
Where are your gods and politicians?
Where is your shame and salvation?
You rage for no reason, because you have no reason.

What have you ever fought for?
What have you ever bled for?
The face of the earth is scarred with the walking dead
The age of the gross is a living virus.

This is the future you have created.
This is the world you have set ablaze!
All your lies are coming true,
All freedom is lost, All Hope is Gone!

"Run." said the voices and he ran. He ran from his past, from his parents, from his friends. From his music, from his anxiety, his depression. From his books and his bed, his heart and his soul. He ran from the girls he had liked and the women he'd loved, from his apologies and obsessions. He ran from his failures and successes, from his hopes and his dreams, from his nightmares and realities. He ran through streets and alleys, by-ways and highways, footpaths and train tracks. He ran from the smell of her hair and the taste of her skin and the way she smiled at him. He ran from his beliefs and his prejudices, his regrets and his shame. He ran from the feeling on the back of his hand, the head on his shoulder, the arms round his waist. He ran from his joy and his fury. He ran from his ideas and his memories. He ran from who he was and who he wasn't. He ran and he ran and he ran and he ran and he ranandheranandheranandheran.

As long as I breathe, I'll call you my home.

So..
I'm feeling better. I want to go to bed and I'm writing this to avoid my Psych homework, but I'm feeling better.
This is my new favourite song. I wanted to cry listening to it this morning. Isn't that crazy? Still, I thought it was beautiful, emotional. No accounting for taste I suppose.

Sometimes I just want to listen to soft songs, happy love songs. Too bad I can't remember any. I found this though, which suits.

I don't know what else to say. Please listen to both songs. They're good, I promise.
So yeah...:)
Back to Psych I guess.

Music stuff

So..

What I think the opening lyrics are:
As we live in these dark days,
Filled with violence, opposition and hate,
There lies a place of saving grace,
Protected in the hearts of the humble,
The faithful, the ones who chose the path of resistance,
To protest, reject and proclaim, that our lives are not in vain,
In flesh, in spirit eternal,
One love.
One truth.
One destiny.
The actual opening lyrics:
As we live in these dark days
filled with violence, opposition and hate.
There lies a place of saving grace
Protected in the hearts of the humble
The faithful, the ones who choose the path of resistance to protest
Protect, save, proclaim our lives lived not in vain.
In flesh, in spirit eternal
One love, One truth, One destiny.

I was close.

Music I've found since my last music post (early March):
I Need A Doctor by Dr Dre featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey. I've kinda gotten tired of this now cause I listened to it so much but it is a really good song. I love the energy and emotion that Eminem injects into this song. Maybe that's just me.
Coming Home by Diddy/Dirty Money featuring Skylar Grey.
Song of Storms Dubstep Remix by Ephixa. Song of Storms being from Zelda (I've never played it). Dubstep isn't bad, so check it out if you're a fan. Maybe you'll hate it.
The Grid and Derezzed off the Tron: Legacy soundtrack. Daft Punk did the score, they're good tracks.
Bullet With Butterfly Wings by (The?) Smashing Pumpkins. Go and listen to it right now. Freaking awesome.
Jolene by Dolly Parton. A classic. I don't like it that much but whatevs.
Disturbia by Rihanna. Fun song.
Insomnia by Faithless. "I can't get no sleep". Very good song.
Dance With The Devil by Immortal Technique. Disturbing, but powerful rap music.
Hurricane by 30 Seconds To Mars. Awesome video, awesome song.
Bye Bye Beautiful and Amiranth by Nightwish. Amazing. Heavy metal with a female vocalist. Works really well.
Cradle of Filth's cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name by Iron Maiden. I love it.
The Sea is Rising and a bunch of other stuff by Bliss n Eso.
Through the Glass by Stone Sour.
Screaming Bloody Murder by Sum 41.
The Time (Dirty Bit) and Just Can't Get Enough by The Black Eyed Peas.
Kings of Metal, Die with Honour, Warriors of the World by Manowar. I just love these guys for some reason, they make me feel really positive and optimistic.

That's all for now. I need to get some Hammerfall and Helloween (and more Manowar and Hatebreed), but that'll come later.
My next post is my 150th, so I might do something special. We'll see.

These fingerless gloves hide the backs of my hands, 'til I don't know what I know anymore.

So..
I'm in Canberra and it's late so I can't be bothered going through every uninteresting thing I've done here. I've been through a kaleidoscope (yay spellchecker) of emotions and I don't know where I'm going. I know I'm tired though, but I feel like talking.

I've been thinking a lot, and while I've depressed myself I've also thought up some interesting stuff. For example, I came up with the title of this post and I'm completely immodest when I say that I think it's an awesome line. I've been meaning to write some songs, but I haven't got around to it. I doubt I ever will.

Good news is I've found heaps of awesome metal. Hammerfall, Manowar, Hatebreed, Helloween, all really good. My kinda metal. When I get home I'm gonna have a lot of downloading to do. And some more albums to add to my list.

I beat Portal 2 by the way. Fun game. Beat the co-op with a friend and now I'm looking at finishing some achievements. I've completely ignored my homework while I'm here, so fuck that.

I've been considering every option, and I think that I can't be bothered changing the course I'm on. I have no desire to "take control of my destiny" or whatever.

I thought about making a new blog, to talk about interesting stuff where no-one knows me and I can just vent and discuss "touchy" subjects without fear of..what's the word I'm looking for? Retribution I spose, but it doesnt really fit. Anyway, I won't. I can't be bothered starting it and I know I won't keep it updated.

So I can't remember why I originally started this post, I'm quite tired. I'll be back, with more coherent thoughts to express.

Win By Any Means Necessary

Last night, I had a dream about you.

So..
Okay, I'm finally writing a blog post. I've been busy, I've had stuff to talk about, I just haven't managed to turn thoughts into words. Before I start though, I bid a warm welcome to my two new followers. Let me see now, welcome amyforder and... I think that's Magda? Am I the only one who's seeing &#65533 repeated four times? Well, whoever you are, welcome. I hope you enjoy my blog. And if you don't, I'm not going to know so its all good :D

Now, down to business. Today is the first of February (pinch punch etc etc.) and school is.. two three or four days away, depending on how you look at it. I start back on Friday the 4th people. And yes, that does mean I have one day of school and then the weekend. I don't understand it either but I'm not exactly going to argue about it am I? For those of you that don't live in Australia, Australia Day was on the 26th, though my fellow Aussie bloggers have probably mentioned it. Every year on Australia day my mum hosts a street party and makes the people in our street go to it. It doesn't usually get in my way, so I don't mind. The three nights before it were good though, I went to Sponge's house with Wombat (hehe codenames) and we stayed the night, then we slept at Wombats, then mine. We did what we always do, ate crap food, talked about crap and played crap games. It was all a bit of harmless fun and I enjoyed myself.

After they left I've been killing time at home mostly I think. E and I are on shakier and shakier ground every day, but somehow everything just keeps going. I was quite torn up about it for a few days, but I'm fine now. School will give me something to concentrate on soon.

I slept over at Wombats again last night. He has a medium-sized pool now, and the weather's getting past 35-40 degrees (Celsius) so it came in handy.

I was watching TV today (as I am wont to do) and the song "Nothing" by The Script came onto Channel V. It's a really good song and I'd seen it before and forgotten about it til now. After it finished, it got me thinking. "Nothing" suits my situation quite well right now, but why else do I love The Script so much? And how is that at odds with my love of heavier rock and metal songs? I figured out that first, I like The Script so much because they're a guys band playing soft rock and singing about heartbreak and getting away with it. There are a number of soft rock bands I admit, but something about The Script's lead singers voice puts them a cut above the rest for me.
Second, the reason I like heavy metal songs and harder rock is because of the way they make me (and others no doubt) feel. Metal makes you feel powerful. I'm not saying every metal song does, but the overarching trend in metal is that the distorted guitars, powerful drums, masculine voices etc etc combine to make you feel strong, powerful and in control. Disturbed's song "Indestructible" comes to mind, because that song was literally created to make the listener feel indestructible. David Draiman (lead singer of Disturbed, no I didn't have to look that up) wrote the song targeted at American soldiers going off to war.

Wow that was a massive paragraph. Oh wait, its actually two. I'm not as bad at punctuation as I thought  :D

A lot of the past few weeks I have spent recording and watching episodes of That 70's Show, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. I must have mentioned this already a few times, but they are my favourite TV shows at the moment. Particularly the latter two, though episodes of TBBT (cbf typing the full names) are disappointingly scarce.

Sponge lent me some CD's when I was at his place. Daft Punk's album Discovery and Deadmau5's two albums For Lack Of A Better Name and Random Album Title. You should definitely check out Digital Love by Daft Punk, it's probably my favourite song right now. I Remember by Deadmau5 featuring Kaskade is really good as well. He also showed me a song called Shut Your Mouth by Under Construction which is actually a cover, but trust me, it's far far better than the original. Finally, I personally found a song called Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites by Skrillex, which you should check out when you have some time on your hands. Its a fun little techno/dubstep thingy.

With far too much time on my hands, too many things to think about, too much to do and too little drive to do a post or anything productive, I've spent a little time on We Heart It, picking up some interesting pictures. And you know, I'll have some little tidbit comment for each of them, of course. Now what have I been..Oh yeah, How I Met Your Mother pictures. That reminds me, I say Toy Story 3 today on DVD. Good fun. Hold on while i search we heart it for Toy story :D

I'm disappointed. I got to page 27 of 63 and got nothing to show for it. Not cool.
Moving on..

Oh Barney, Barney, Barney.

The Barnacle is why I keep coming back to HIMYM
Okay turns out I'm not in the mood for pictures. This hasn't been a very interesting post has it? Oh well, I don't mind. Enjoy your day (or night.)

Friday, November 12, 2010

You're the one thing on my mind, but that could change anytime.

So..
EXAMS. ARE. OVER. (bitches)
My best friend is sitting behind me, Hilltop Hoods are playing, we have hot chocolates and my day has consisted of reading, relaxing and hanging out with friends.
Quickly, in case I want to refer to it later, my maths exams went shit, not sure if I'll pass, History I did well, English I owned the first part and screwed up the second a bit, Photography I did very well, Game Design I did ok and enjoyed it, Science was a bit if a bitch and French was annoying.

New music is:
Morgenstern by Rammstein, a real love song
Addicted by Bliss n Eso, a perfect song for the holidays about loving life.
Some okay Bring Me The Horizon stuff, a bit unintelligible for me.
Double Vision by 3OH!3
Cardiology by Good Charlotte. Their new album and I think it's quite good. I've probably talked before about my thoughts on Good Charlotte - they aren't a bad band, I just outgrew them. In deference to my old love of them I got the album and I am enjoying it. I'm also going to get Disturbed's first album re-issue The Sickness and I'm think about buying Running On Air, Bliss n Eso's new album that spawned Addicted and Down By The River, which I love. I also still need to get A Thousand Suns and a job.

Hmm, what can I talk about? I'm happy. I guess that's enough. There's nothing interesting to say when I'm content. Bit sad really. Saw an old old friend today. Two years and still fine. Love it when it's like that.
Playing Fable 3 right now. It's a pretty good game but I hope my brother likes it. He paid for it after all and if he didn't like it I'd feel bad. Brotherhood is in six days. I can't bloody wait.

I might s well go look up some pictures. What have I already got on my hard drive? Well there's
this,
this,
this,
(Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold of course.)
this,
(My favourite I think)
and this,

I think I might do a picture post in a sec.

.I believe I am beautiful. And for now, that's all I need.

So..
Well a new post is long overdue, and I'm sorry for the wait if you've missed me. I have a lot to say, so this'll be a long one. I know how irritating massive posts can be but I'll try to keep it interesting.

It's been two weeks since my last post. A lot has happened. The last week of school I actually got some work done and finished off pretty well. The last day I wandered around a bit in the city with a friend, but there wasn't anything to do so I went to Pizza Friday instead. It was a lot more fun. I don't remember much of it, but it was good.
So now it's holidays. I dont remember much of the first weekend, let's see. Lost basketball again, or did we win? i think it was close. No, we lost. But if we had another player we woulda won. I also saw Tomorrow When The War Began. It was a good movie.
All of last week I had work experience at the Australian Services Union (ASU). I put away shopping, put stickers on bags, ate crackers, helped with the mail, went to meetings and did lots of filing. It wasn't too bad, but I shoulda been paid more :P. It was 9-5, when I got home I generally just played xbox. On Thursday night I went with my dad and brother to see a movie called Boy. It was pretty sad and though it was a good movie, it wasn't my kinda movie so I didn't really like it.
I thought up this phrase on the way to work one morning. Just popped into my head.

Red paint spills across my canvas, like blood from the anvil.

III thought it was brilliant. I guess it is meant to symbolise how what is defined as 'art' can be very broad and that an intricate painting on canvas can be compared to a sword finely made through a blacksmith's hard work. Or something. The sentence just feels...pure. Like it's mine, my own completely original idea.

So after work experience was the weekend of course. No basketball because it's the middle of the holidays, so I went to a friend's place on Saturday (ignoring the football) and when I got home another friend came and slept over. On Sunday we went bowling (3 games, I won the last one because he suddenly got really bad) then came home and hung out. This morning I got up around 930 and messed around while my friend slept. I walked with him to his house in the rain and waited at his place for it to stop raining. It didn't, so I just left. Finally, I played computer games instead of doing homework and then watched Good News Week. I love that show, it's brilliant.

Tomorrow I'm going to Northland for a bit, then I'll have to come home and do homework because on Wednesday I have a dentist appointment then a bunch of people coming round for a sleepover. I'm not sure if it'll be very fun, but with some luck everyone will be happy enough :S.

Friday I'm going to see Easy A with some friends, all other times will be homework, xbox and computer.

OK, that's my holidays, in short. New music is:

Dynamite by that radio person
Summer Of '69 by Bryan Adams
Fader by Temper Trap
Livin' On a Prayer by Bon Jovi
Father and Son by Bob Dylan
Flame Trees by Cold Chisel
Perseverance by Hatebreed (truly brilliant)
Love Dump by Static-X (cool intro)
Free Your Hate by KMFDM

So now what?
I'm reasonably happy, content at least.
For once, I don't have a crush, or a fixation. I have girls I think about, but not too intensely. Is this how it is for normal people? If love comes to me, I'll take it. But right now, like this is fine.

It's interesting you know. When I think about someone liking me, obsessing over me like I do when I have a crush, it just doesn't work. I can't imagine it. It's not a sad thing, I'm not saying I'm impossible to love or anything depressing, it's just that I truly can't picture it. I can't imagine me having sex or making out or anything like that. It just doesn't work in my head. I wonder..

I remember walking across the road on Bell Street, singing along to Run To The Hills by Iron Maiden on my iPod. I was probably horribly out of tune, but I couldn't hear it and no one else could and it just felt so freeing. A moment of pure bliss and innocence. I don't know what else to say.

The only thing that I still believe in is you. If you only knew. (This doesn't mean anything right now, the line just makes me smile)

"We are men, we are not beasts and we do not intend to be beaten and driven as such."

Sometimes my eyes look as blue as the sky. Sometimes they are as green as emeralds. And sometimes, just sometimes, they shine like the stars above.

So..
Hi there. Sorry I haven't been posting but I was trying to think of things to do to commemorate my 100th post. So this is the 99th, and it's going to be pretty big.
First up, things that've been happening. Let's see, my last post was a week and a half ago so major things that have happened are: I had a day off last Friday and I was going to have a party but I had to cancel. Oh well. One friend did sleep over though and we just messed around on the computer mostly. On Saturday I went to the city with my friend and saw him off. I walked around the city for a bit longer then went home. We won basketball easily though I don't think I played very well. Saturday night I went and saw Jersey Boys! It was actually really good, way better than I expected. Sunday I rested from my big Saturday
Monday was the start of the new semester, so I will never again do Geography. my new subjects are history, game design and photography. Photography looks like it'll be fun, history could be good and game design will hopefully rock.
Nothing interesting happened until Thursday when I did a competition call Write-A-Book-In-A-Day. About ten guys including me basically hung out in the library all day in casual clothes eating crap food. We were given some characters and a setting and had to make a story. Then each of us wrote a chapter. I didn't get home til about six, but I had fun so I didn't mind.
Friday was last day of term. We finished at 1, got our reports and went to the city. I hung out with a few friends and got home at around when I would have on a normal day.
Yesterday I had basketball again, we lost horribly :( I finally organised my iTunes for my new iPod. I now have 1048 songs on it as well as 18 music videos. And a hell of a lot of videos.
I didn't go to bed until 4, stayed up talking to my girlfriend (:D) and downloading stuff.
This morning I got up at 1130ish and watched Gladiator. I have no idea why we own that movie. But it was good.

Now then, for my hundredth post, I thought I would do three things. Write a story I recently thought up called The Sea, do the tag Erimentha gave me and talk about my 5 favourite things and 'get my shit together', though probably not on the scale Eri did. But I'll clean up my room, alphabetize my books, organise stuff, be a busy little bee etc.

Finally, (for now) on the music front I have lots of new stuff.
Hello Fascination by Breathe Carolina.
Sons of Plunder by Disturbed which I started listening to recently.
Another Way To Die by Disturbed, off their new album.
Wolves Of The Sea by Alestorm.
Freak On A Leash by KoRn and it's freakish video.
Talk Like That by The Presets. The girl in the video is hot in a 'kill you in your sleep' kinda way.
The Death Of Love by Cradle Of Filth (freakin' awesome).
Blood Sugar by Pendulum. It's techno, but in a good way.
Keasby Nights by Streetlight Manifesto. I love the chorus.
If It's Love by Train. You've probably heard it, its been on the radio recently.
I'm Not Jesus and Helden by Apocalyptica. The first features the lead singer of Slipknot and it souds amazing. The second has the lead singer from Rammstein and it's a cover of David Bowie's song Heroes. In German. Because that's awesome.
If You Only Knew by Shinedown. Not a recent song, but a good one.
Drops Of Jupiter by Train. One of those songs you've heard, but never heard of.
Sayin' Goodbye To Hollywood by Eminem. Fun.
Fack by Eminem. Do NOT listen to it. Especially with your parents around. Or anyone else.
I'm Not Okay by My Chemical Romance.
Miss You by The Rolling Stones.
Rawkfist by Thousand Foot Krutch.
And a new artist for you, Halestorm. Sounds like Paramore, but heavier and wilder. I'll get their album next time I go out. Good songs by them are I Get Off and It's Not You.
I gotta go to the shops. More soon!

Oh yeah, almost forgot,
It's the holidays!

No one else can see you, the same way as myself

So..
I haven't posted in a while, I'm sure you don't mind, ja? I'm just relaxing all the time, now exams are over. Next week we start a new semester, so tomorrow is my last day of Geography and Art. It feels a little strange. You get used to something for so long and then it's gone. I won't miss them or anything, I never cared about Geo and I can still draw and stuff after Art is finished. Next semester is Photography which should be interesting and GAME DESIGN! I'm so screwed for it but man I want to do well. We'll see. Sometimes it seems that all we're doing is waiting to see. See what's tomorrow, what's on the weekend, what's going to happen next. I hate waiting.
So my Philosophy teacher is the coolest guy you know. He dressed up in round glasses and a bowler hat and a mustache for Bloom day. Very interesting guy. My new favourite songs are:
Angel Witch by Angel Witch
Eighteen by Alice Cooper
We Are The Road Crew by Motorhead
Welcome To My Nightmare by Alice Cooper
Die For Metal by Manowar
Queen Of The Masquerade by Crimson Glory
and basically all of the album Captain Morgan's Revenge by Alestorm
Did you hear about the walruses? A number of oil companies were boasting about how much better they would have handles BHP's oil spill. One of them had an action plan consisting of 40 pages on dealing with the media and 9 on dealing with the spill. Another (or maybe the same one) had plans for dealing with any walruses that might be aound. Walruses haven't lived in the area for THREE MILLION YEARS! Complete bullshit Mr. Oil Company.
In cooler news, the plural of genius is genii. I think.

Chocolate.

Doctor Who is a gun

I'm going to watch the Gruen Transfer tonight. It should be fun.
Oh yeah. Did I tell you I got the game Brutal Legend? IT IS AWESOME!!! Basically you drive around a heavy metal filled world and kill baddies to a awesome metal soundtrack. Angel Witch, Road Crew and Queen are all on it, plus 104 more awesome songs.

Did I tell you I have a girlfriend? I have a girlfriend...Hehehe. I'm so screwed. But I'm not exactly going to complain am I?

Stream of consciousness.

Today is a winding road that's taking me to places that I didn't want to go

So..
I have 20 followers!!! Is that amazing or what? The music-loving Gabrielle has seen fit to join our motley crew, so (non-alcoholic) drinks all round!
In response to all your comments on my last post: I agree with your comments Lilah. I don't really have any comeback and I don't think one is necessary. And thanks for the compliment. Thanks to Erimentha for your compliments too, though I'm far from the coolest guy :D
s.k.y...people smile in photos because it's expected, because they're meant to and sometimes, because they're happy. I love photos because people never take pictures of me.

So what else is new? Lots of stuff. Most of you are probably having exams soon like me, except you're studying instead of looking on blogger aren't you? I stil have homework, which is very bad, but hey tomorrow is Friday...I'm a good procrastinator dammit.

Alestorm is 'pirate metal' and freaking awesome. listen to the song Keelhauled if you like that kind of thing. which I would say you don't? perhaps Don't Take Your Love Away by Jon Crosby is more your thing.

I'm listening to A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton over and over trying to remember the song lyric I was going to put as the title.

Do you like hugging? Hugging is awesome. I have said before I'm not gay, and I'm not, but I hug all my best mates at least once a day. And they let me because they know how weird I am like that. Of course hugging girls is completely different. I'm not good with the whole platonic-relationship-but-are-best-friends thing...yeah... Hugging is comforting, like just for a second everything is gonna be fine.

Umm.
Don't you love xkcd? mindless, yet intelligent humour.
I actually enjoyed The Hangover a lot, but I've been hearing a lot of negativity about it lately. Oh well.
But it didn't work. 5 times out of 5.
Do you have a happy place? I realised when I read this that I don't. There's no place in my head, real or imaginary that I can retreat to when the world is too much. No room in my house is sacred, no places to go outside. So, for now, I'm going to design the apartment I want to live in when I'm rich and happy. :)

Because sometimes you just couldn't care less. :)
And I think yours do too. But I can't see through the layers of meaning and I bet you don't even try to.
Some lines from Make Me Wanna Die by The Pretty Reckless. Pretty cool stuff.
Nothing new there. Just a new you.
I hope I am a friend like this. And I hope I get one.
Because it wasn't immediately obvious.
I think this is very clever. And true. And sad.
because no matter how fucked up things are, there is always cake.

I'm so so so so tired. Mentally and physically. Have a great weekend.

Ride On.

So..
Much to talk about. I have a ring with a skull on it, being the emogoth I apparently am. The funny part is that my grandma gave it to me, which is not a typical grandparent to grandchild present as far as I'm aware. I was wearing it on my ring finger, but it was tight, hard to get off and doing weird things to the patch of skin under it. Now I've left it somewhere and I don't know where. Oh well. I borrowed this book called Paper Towns by the same guy who wrote Looking For Alaska - John Green. He's become my favourite writer, but he's only written three books so far *tear*. It was a good book. :D
I have a new follower (Sabine Cara) who will probably run away very quickly once she 1. finds out I only know a few Lily Allen songs 2. reads some more of my posts and 3. realises I'm mad. Och well.
I also got a tag from Camelgirl for Cassie's therapy video. Again :o .
I don't mind :D. I'm gonna do it again and see if any of my answers are the same as last time.
Now let's see..

Abracadabra, Wow!
I like boys
with
a sense of humour and big dreams and girls with big dreams and a sense of humour.
I like
people who accept my weirdness as an essential part of me.

I like
getting answers to tricky questions first.

I like
reading doomed love stories. (John Green again[and Shakespeare])

I like
staying up late at night, talking.
I like
d how things used to be.
I like rearranging words to see if they spell anything else.
I like being needed.
I like doing silly things with my friends to pass the time.
I like it when I can think of things I like that aren't weird or depressing.:D
I like it when I truly believe I can reach my dreams.
I like the characters in stories are unconventional, but inspirational.
I love
laughing simply because I can and there's a reason to.
Today
I laughed uncontrollably because the teacher said 'Six', watched the Zefferelli version of Romeo and Juliet (the best PG film of all time), got the answer to a logic problem first, even though I wasn't even paying attention, I was reading then I looked up, found out what they were talking about and got the answer instantly.
In some ways, I love everything.
Its less, its less of a thing to like, its less distinct, its less particular
I like things that I like but I love everything
There’s more choice in like
Cos even the worst things have things you love in them

I don’t know what you mean about things I hate

I hate
it when I wake up in the middle of a good dream.
I hate people who think there's something wrong with me, just because I'm unconventional.
I hate it when I don't understand what I did wrong.
I hate it when I get my hopes up, then see them crushed, or pushed aside.
I hate
how growing up changes people, including me.
I hate
that I'm losing my old friends, and I don't care enough to try.
I hate being alone but in a way, sometimes it can be useful.
I hate
my cynical, nihilistic side
I hate this, wow. . .
Sorry.

Well now. This is called the act of - wait. Oops wrong place...
Hmm. What else is new? Oh, for almost all of yesterday I had the song Its Too Late by Evermore stuck in my head. It was good. It's actually a pretty sad song, but it kept me uplifted for some reason. I'm glad it did though.
I'm actually feeling quite good after writing that, which surprises me. Writing down what I'm thinking and feeling is a kind of release I suppose.
I also borrowed and read a book called The Jester by James Patterson and.. Someone Gross. As in, I borrowed it in the morning and read it through the day, and finished it a few minutes after I got home. I'm a fast reader.
Umm. OH! I know! I bought the Master Of Puppets album from a market person. It cost me 2 bucks and plays fine, though the cover is a bit old. I found a new song I like on it called Welcome Home (Sanitarium). The opening lines are very good.
Welcome to where time stands still,
Where no-one leaves and no-one will.

And later..
Sleep my friend and you will see,
The dream is my reality.

And the chorus..
Sanitarium.
Leave me be.
Sanitarium.
Just leave me alone.

Thats all for now. I post again soon though, I want to put up some weheartit stuff I found.
